Our Taiwan-Indonesia Science and Technology Innovation Center (STIC) visited the Power Win Co in the Pingnan Industrial Park on September 5. The company, specialized in recovery of valuable metals from waste batteries, was founded in 2012. It is a recycling plant certified by the EPA of Taiwan, and the only one recognized by the Apple company.
In face of the rapid growth of electric vehicles (EV) and energy storage facilities, the development of green and environmentally friendly recycling technology for waste batteries has become a big challenge. The Power Win Co just completed the construction of the new recycling plant in the Pingnan Industrial Park and is currently under test runs. It is expected to be obtain the certificate from the Government in 2024 and play an important role in the green supply chain of batteries.
Our STIC will sign MOU with the Power Win Co shortly. We were honored to have in-depth discussion with Plant Manager, Mr. F.M. Ho. We explored the possibility of involving the company as one of the key partner enterprises of our STIC, and engaged in Taiwan-Indonesia collaboration of green technology.
